Jawad Niaz is a highly experienced Physiotherapist who holds Bachelors & Masters of Physiotherapy Degree from Pakistan. He also holds a Graduate diploma in Migration Law from Victoria University Australia.
Jawad has extensive experience working as a Physiotherapist both in Australia and overseas. He initially worked in Pakistan in various hospitals for over 5 years. He has been working in Australia as a Physiotherapist since 2010.He has worked across a continuum of care including Acute, Sub-acute, Rehab and Community health settings. During this time, he has worked as a Grade 1 and a Grade 2 Physio.
Jawad has a special interest in Migration law. He is very passionate about helping people with visa issues on volunteer basis. He was the first Physio who discovered an alternate Permanent residence route for limited registration Physios through Temporary resident transition streams.
In addition to that, Jawad is highly passionate about online education. He pioneered AAPTA written exam webinars (aka Skype sessions) in 2010. The webinars gave participating members an opportunity to be exposed ,discuss and problem solve a variety of MCQs associated with clinical case scenarios.This has opened up a preparation opportunity for APC written assessment candidates located in Australia as well as overseas.
Jawad currently holds the roles of Committee Member and Webinar Lead. He previously served as an Associate Secretary and was part of executive leadership team.
